“Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”

Artist Statement
I paint what I am most passionate about, the human experience. It is one of great highs and lows, peace and war, joy and suffering, love and hate. I paint what makes us special, our ability to love and to place the needs of others above our own. As individuals in this world of over six billion people, it has become evident that a single person has the ability to impact the lives of many. Compassion is the greatest lesson I've learned after choosing to be truly present and disconnected from autopilot; the author of my own story. Painting is a gift that I was given, and my most recent paintings are meant to bring the viewers to the conscious realization that one person has the power to change the world significantly in a positive way through love, compassion, and faith. You will see that you don't need to be economically wealthy to open your heart to become truly human again. As children, we love unconditionally without prejudices. To become the best version, the happiest version of ourselves we have to find the road back to that kind of love.
